To solve the problem of a google recurring event appearing over several days on a Palm OS I do the following
Create the event in Google with the SINGLE date i.e. Start 20/5 End 20/5 THEN select the repeat box below. From that you can choose DAILY and another box comes up UNTIL. At that point you can put in the final date you wish it to show up. On Google it will show as a series of single daily items (not a straight line) BUT on the treo it will come up across all the days of the event. The problem happens when in Google you put the end date in the initial date range. Just a thought.
