I've not heard from you.
I'm going to have to drop GooSync because it just no longer works on
my phone. (Invalid Host Adress and Server Disconnected) It's certainly
a great idea but not ready for prime time. Also, before it stopped
working, I was getting multiple duplicate calendar entries due to
GooSync not able to recognize that an incoming event is actually the
same as a prior synchronized event. This seemed to happen when I
changed the Description field in of calendar events that were on
'included' calendars in Google Calendar. I was synchronizing from
phone to Lotus Organizer on my laptop and vice versa using PC Sync and
then onwards to Google Calendar. It must be that there is simply no
standard for assigning unique identifiers to calendar entries and so
sync software will mostly just recreate new entries if it is 'unsure'.
I will not ask for a refund because I believe that entrepreneurial
software companies deserve credit for innovation. I have also now
changed my Google password which unfortunately is shared for all
services including e-mail.
