Hi, I've checked through the server log files and they indicate that the error is being generated because of a time out issue.
After the device sends its last message to GooSync (the last batch of events) GooSync beings processing these. Unfortunately this appears to take longer than the devices time-out value and the device terminates the sync with the "invalid host address" error. Development have been working on the code to try and prevent this sort of problem from occuring and we're getting closer to a solution. We're aiming to get this fix implemented into the next release of GooSync. I don't have a release date yet but it should be available in the next week or two.
