I had the exact same problem with my Palm TX a couple of weeks ago.
The only way to solve the problem was a hard reset.

Soft and warm resets didn't solve the problem - as soon as any program
tried to touch the datebook database the TX reset.

I stopped by this group to see if the problem has been fixed yet. Can
anyone confirm that GooSync is now safe to use on a Palm TX and that
it doesn't threaten catastrophic data loss any more?!

If it's safe then I'll install and use, and probably subscribe.
