Hi, Private events from shared calendars will be synchronised to your device but they will be empty except for the tag/category of the associated calendar.
How is your wife's calendar shared with you? Is it shared as standard read-only or is it shared as "view free/busy only"? We've detected a problem when attempting to access the "free/busy only" calendars, Google prevents us from accessing these calendars and returns the not found error.
