Publishing the Gora artifacts is good both for adoption and to be able to be a
dependency in other Apache projects using Maven.
There are some Apache projects not using Maven directly (Ant, Ivy) but still
publishing their artifacts into a Maven repository. An example of this is
Apache Nutch (which actually has a dependency on Gora, dependency that cannot
be satisfied by Maven unless Gore publishes their artifacts as well).
