Feel free to download the code, check out the quickstart guide on the website [1] (might be out of date), take a look at our JIRA system [2], and try and figure out bugs, new features, and things to work on. You create issues, attach patches, and after a while, we (the Gora Podling Project Management Committee, or PPMC, along with the Apache Incubator PMC) may decide to give you commit access to the project.
