Yeh, With gOS 2.9 I was doing it on a VPS, Which did the trick. When gOS3 came out, I was willing but not ready, On the first day alone, I was pushing more then 8 TB, I was actually on Vacation in Hawaii in panic mode, I called my DC and Had 2 Dedicated Boxes ordered, both with a 100 MBit Unmeetered connection.
I do know earlier this month, there were some stability issues with my servers, but that was because people were giving out the direct link to the downloads, The way I wrote the backend is to route the user to the most stable server. Currently we have served over 23,000 copies of gOS 3 Gadgets BETA 733 copies of gOS Rocket G 405 copies of gOS Rocket E 1746 copies of gOS Space This month On Aug 26, 11:35 pm, Anthony <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Same here. > > gOS Beta 3 has been downloaded: 3978 times, from Ruby Ring > Technologies > We have donated 2667.4921875 GB’s of bandwidth to the gOS Project. > > It will such down the bandwidth. :-) > If your on a shared server, I really recommend to you not to, as most > likely your provider will shut you down, if you have a dedicated go > for it. > > On Aug 26, 2:55 pm, Benjamin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > > > > I've seen screenshots of your project, and they look awesome.
