Yes, this is a part of the compiz expansion.

First you will need to see if your hardware can support it.

The easiest method to do this is by opening a terminal (don't be
afraid if your unfamiliar) and type
glxinfo

If it says direct rendering is enable. Check your frame rate by then
typing glxgears.
If the gears are spinning around smoothly then you are fine.

Now get the Compiz window manager packs.
Type
sudo apt-get install compiz-gnome compizconfig-settings-manager
Hit Enter.
xxx
This will download and install the compiz features.

Lastly after a succesful install go to Menu -> System Pref ->
Preferences -> Sessions

Remove xcompmgr from the very bottom of that list.

Now go to Menu -> System Pref -> Preferences -> Adv Desktop Effects
Settings

and enable any features you want present.

I suggest Shift Switcher, Cube, Cube Rotation, Cube Reflection, and
Snapping Windows, plus any other options listed under Window
Management selections.

Invoke the different options with <Alt> + <Ctrl> quick keys.
You can see each individual compiz effects quick keys by checking the
keybinding tab within each compiz options dialog.
Here you can also change them, I suggest changing Shift Switcher to
<Ctrl><Alt>S

I hope this helps.
