I tried the CD in my desktop (which is running XP) and a menu auto-
loaded with the option to install. So possibly the CD is working
correctly.
I've just put XP back on my laptop and I'm going to try and install
from there. I'm hoping it won't just reboot the laptop and crash
again.
I think 24X should be sufficient speed to burn an iso. I've always
used this before with no problems (especially as the drive should be
able to burn at 40X).
