Unfortunately, I do not have it on my Ubuntu machine and I only have a
512MB USB Flash drive so I have take it off the machine and transfer
it over to another, that's a bummer. The file is on a Windows Vista
machine.

I used isorecorder so that may be the problem? (maybe it only has the
option of copying the image and not actually burning it onto the CD so
that it's bootable?) That's just a guess though. I used the Bit
Torrent option to download the ISO file so I think it checks if the
file is corrupted before it completes the download? I read about how
to use the md5sum or sha1sum so I probably need to do that if my next
attempt doesn't work. But I am not sure where to get the signature of
the original file on the server from which I downloaded the ISO file
from.

Right now I am trying to find another piece of free software that will
burn the iso file to another CDR. Feel free to suggest anything else.
I haven't taken the time out to learn about burning ISO files so it's
causing me a little bit of a headache, though I am sure I'll get it
right sooner or later.
