Ok, Ive tryd this out now, it whent smooth installing it, but ran ok when installed, but I had a problem with the wireless network. The driver where installed and it came up in the list over aproved hardwares, but it whant connect in any way.. The Os it self reacted a little slow, epecialy the startmenu... So as far it gows for now, I dont recomend to install quite jet... You should rather try Onelinux, that one is allso based on ubuntu but it is fixd to work with aspire one...
