Well it seems that there is really something amiss with trying to
install gOS on an Easynote XS mini laptop - here are my conclusions:

gOS Space:
- Runs from Live CD straight to Enlightenment Desktop with no
problems.
- No Wifi detection.
- No system tray.
- Upon installation disk partitions are not detected - I am greeted by
a blank where the list of available partitions should be.

gOS Rocket E:
Same problems as per gOS Space.

gOS Rocket G:
Cannot boot into the desktop from the Live CD - before the boot gets
to that stage I get a black screen with distorted graphics - then
hangs.

gOS Gadgets
Cannot boot into the desktop from the Live CD - before the boot gets
to that stage I get a purple fading to white screen - then hangs, I
have experienced the same thing when trying to install Ubuntu onto
this laptop.

So I'm a bit confused at it appears that gOS runs on an Everex
Cloudbook ( http://www.everex.com/products/cloudbook/cloudbook.htm )
which has the same spec as my Easynote XS.

Any ideas please?

Regards,

John Nelson.
