Many thanks, If this is based on Hardy 8.1 the problem I'm having may be fixed with the new Kernal. If not there is a good chance the wpa won't work on the WiFi. Not your fault that the Kernal is broken in this aspect. Still I'll try it.
Off Topic By the way in the Beta I had to install Yelp to view help files, otherwise you got an error message, and you may want to include it or something similar. Sometimes the GOS icon in the corner becomes unresponsive but I've added another in a seperate panel which works even if the corner one does not. May I also say that I really like the GOS distro and as soon as the wifi works I'm going to pass the laptop to my in-laws who have never used a computer before.
