I have 2 identical machines - thinkpad 600x. It's an older laptop but I managed to install gOS 3 on one of them and everything went fine right from the start. On this second one, I cannot get the machine to recognize the wireless card. I have installed ndiswrapper and manged to get the driver loaded within the terminal window but when I check to see if it can see a wireless card, I get a message telling me "irda0 no wireless extensions". Kind of odd how it worked on one machine and not the other. I'm sort of new to Linux and have been searching around all the forums but I'm still stuck.
