Actually, I had the same problem. I connected my Sansa MP3 player (e250) to the USB, and an error message popped up and said there was a mount error. I connected my 1 GB USB pen drive (from which I installed gOS Gadgets...used Unetbootin to put a bootable gOS Gadgets on the pen drive) to the USB, and I got the same error message. Haven't seen this problem in Ubuntu. The only mount problem I've seen in Ubuntu 8.04 is that NTFS drives aren't automounted until you use the NTFS Configuration Tool to make it readable/writable). But other than that, I have to say gOS Gadgets is pretty darn good.
