If possible, switch your network card to an "Intel wireless Pro"... They work super with gOS, you do#nt have to do or fix anything... First time I tried gos on my laptop I was online on the first click ! wich was the firefox icon. I then tried on a friends "Dell" wich also has the Intel wireless but another series and it worked just as good.
