Hi Denthral,

Are you using a PS/2 Keyboard or and USB Keyboard, I had similar issue with
the exception being that I did not get the command line prompt, was using a
USB Keyboard.

I changed to a PS/2 keyboard and VOLA, things were working, I used the safe
graphics option, it tool a little longer to boot up but it did boot up.

Thanks
Vaibhav

Subject: Can't get Live CD to work at all, several attempts

I've recently built a new computer which according to many is pretty
good, but I am having difficulty finding an operating system. I've
never liked Windows but I could never find a Linux distribution that
caught my eye until I found out about gOS.

I went about downloading an iso and burning it to a CD so that I could
install it on my new computer, and this is how things went.

1) gOS live boot screen, only one option is given, something like: try
gOS without installation
2) I select the only option
3) gOS loading screen with the bar going back and forth, it stays on
this for 3-5 minutes.
4) It than goes to a solid black screen with a command line input but
I am unable to type anything, I can only push ctrl+alt+del to restart.

I tried using the safe graphics mode under the F4 button but that
results in the same chain of events. I'm really wanting to use your
operating system but I can't get it to install.

Any help would be appreciated.
