That was gOS 1, based on the Enlightenment windows manager, which used
a lot less memory, gOS 3 uses GNOME, like Ubuntu itself, and uses
384MB. By the way, gOS 1 only RAN the Live_CD with 128MB, it was still
impossible to install it, as installing it required 256MB of RAM.

gOS 3 will also appear with an Enlightenment desktop manager, and in
two other versions that are specifically optimised for very low RAM
requirement. They are expected this year.
