It's funny you should ask this. I was having the same problem. Basically what I did was launch Prism (Internet --> Prism), create a program in my Documents folder that went to my site, then use WBarConf to create an icon (using the gmail icon), and map to the prism file. Just add glaunch in front, restart the dock, and you're off to the races.
