Okay, assuming you want to use some trick to use a hard-disk partition
instead of a CD-player, there are a few problems with that...

First, you need to prepare suitable partitions in advance, as normally
a partitioner cant partition the drive it is running from, that is why
the installer (partitioner) needs to run on a different medium that
what it installs on.

Second, it is not enough to simply copy the content of the .ISO to a
hard-disk, and expect that to work, there are invisible files on the
Live_CD that must be placed on the hard-disk too for it tow work, the
hard-disk needs a working boot structure.
