If you can find out the model of your pcs motherboard you maybe able to find information on the jumper settings on the motherboard. I had a dell dimension pentium 4 pc that had this same problem. My motherboard actually stated in very small writing (get the magnifiying glass out) that the jumper pins i located were the reset pins (i think i was just lucky) Good luck mate
