I have persistently installed gOS on a USB from the instructions on
pendrivelinux.com and every thing seemed to work fine...until I booted
it up. It said loading linux kernal, loads to 100%, and then I get a
blank screen. I say this because I had to run the live CD in safe
graphics mode in order to use it. I tried using Puppy Linux in the
back, and could never boot using xorg (I had to use xevesa)...which
seems strange because I use Ubuntu and I am pretty
sure I am using xorg right now. Is there something I need to fix? Is
it a problem with my computer? I have a new Thinkpad T61, so I'd hope
that it could run it decently...

Here are the specs of my video card: (I don't know if that will help,
I can post other specs if necessary)

description: VGA compatible controller
product: Quadro NVS 140M
vendor: nVidia Corporation
version: a1
width: 64 bits
clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list

Thanks for the help,
David
