I guess I start a new post to attract attension. I have a sylvania g netbook. After update to gOS 3.0, my webcam does not work. Follow the instruction mentioned from postings here, I install linux- backports and I can start webcam now.
However, solving one problem creates another. Now my wireless connection show only a steady 13%. It used to be 75%-85%. Clicking the wireless icon shows all wireless SSIDs around with about the same level. They were at different level before. I try to turn off the wireless thinking to turn back on my help. When I press the keys to turn off the wireless, the computer hang and the cap lock light splinks. What happen? Can I fix that? One more thing, in the device manager, there is an "unknown button" under video control interface besides the USB webcam. Does it matter? How can I get get rid of it? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gOS Linux" group.
