I'm looking for an absolutely simple and easy OS that my old grandma can use. It must be so simple that there is no chance of breaking anything. It will only be used for email and viewing photo attachments. --> In your opinion, is gOS useful for this?
Some more details: 1) Granny has never used a computer before. But she easily programs her new VCR. 2) The computer will be some kind of standard modern laptop and a USB mouse. 3) The computer will use wireless LAN to some kind of always-on home DSL connection or similar. 4) No one else will use or have physical access to the computer. The nearest family member is 2 hours away and isn't me, so onsite support should be avoided. Theoretically, support over the Net should be possible, but the idea was to make it not necessary. "Nothing to break" is the goal! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gOS Linux" group.
