Hi Kevin, I'm afraid you'll need to be a little more specific.
There are no 'Windows formatted' files as such unless you're talking about files which form part of the Windows operating system itself. I'm assuming you mean there are files which you used/made within Windows using some particular application. If you can explain or detail what application/s created the file/s you are referring to then it will be easier to help. For instance .doc and .docx are created by MS Office.
