Maybe the CD is a bit flakey, and the reader in your HP Pavillion has
a bit of trouble reading it. A live CD is a bit more sensitive to
reading errors than other kinds of CD's. I suggest burning another CD,
and using the slowest burn speed your burner can handle, so 4x speed
or something like that.
