I'm not with a gOS PC, so I can't check this, but I assume that a Wbar
shortcut for a Website actually needs to call Firefox, with as a
parameter the URL you want to open. I suggest looking at the Wbar
content of an existing Web shortcut, and copy how its done there.

I suppose that instead of containing something like
http://www.facebook.com

the Wbar link should instead be

firefox http://www.facebook.com
