I'm not with a gOS PC, so I can't check this, but I assume that a Wbar shortcut for a Website actually needs to call Firefox, with as a parameter the URL you want to open. I suggest looking at the Wbar content of an existing Web shortcut, and copy how its done there.
I suppose that instead of containing something like http://www.facebook.com the Wbar link should instead be firefox http://www.facebook.com On Dec 25, 4:43 am, CybaCowboy <[email protected]> wrote: > Okay, > > So I've worked-out how to customize Wbar (the Apple Mac OS X-like bar > at the bottom of the screen, when viewing the desktop) and I've > managed to get a few of my own programs (such as Mozilla's > Thunderbird) working... > > However, I can't seem to get Internet shortcuts working. > > I've managed to create a Facebook shortcut for example, however when I > click it, nothing happens! > > I suspect that it's because I'm using command (at a guess, I'm > assuming there needs to be some sort of command for the browser, > followed by another command to launch this specific Web site?), though > I'm not sure how to correct it... > > The command I'm using for my Facebook shortcut is:http://www.facebook.com > > So, can anyone tell me what command I should actually be using? > > I'm using Mozilla's Firefox now, however hope to be using Flock > shortly, so if someone could please list what the command would be > with both browsers, I would be most appreciative... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gOS Linux" group.
