removing gOS is a two part process:

1) Removing the EXT3 and swap partitions used by gOS, and using the
freed space to resize the Windows partition back to the whole disk.

2) Repairing the boot sector so that it contains the Windows boot
sector, not the GRUB loader.

You have done the first, although you do not say if you recovered the
used space (resized the Windows partition)

note that the maker of this movie did NOT bother to regain the space
used by Ubuntu/(gOS) he only cared tho make booting it impossible. To
complete the task he should have also resized the windows partition.

There are many other ways to put back the boot sector (first sector of
the hard-disk), it can even be done with a Linux Live_CD, but I leave
that to you, google is your friend.
