Hi, I'm posting a similar message to YahooGroups...
Seems that [email protected] has been bouncing for the past few weeks.... maybe longer, since it looks like someone has reset it a few times :) I just noticed it on one of my lists (I have a dozen archived at Mail-Archive.com)... tried resetting and it wouldn't Unbounce... checked a few other bouncers and they unbounced first click... I guess YGroups has a block on the reset (just a guess :)) There is a possibility that this bouncing is related to a similar problem experienced at AOL recently. All mail from YahooGroups to AOL was bouncing because YahooGroups updated their server IP addresses and AOL's servers no longer recognized them, considering the massive amounts of mail to be Spam. Hopefully someone at Mail-Archive.com will contact the service at YahooGroups and get things straightened out... I've been advocating the use of the [email protected] address since it provides an easily created alternate archive for list owners who want to maintain archives outside of YahooGroups (for whatever reason :)) The only addresses I have for feedback at Mail-Archive.com are [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] - I'll be writing to them but I am hoping that the situation will be cleared up sooner :) Thanks for reading, John T _______________________________________________ Gossip mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://jab.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gossip
