Season's greetings. So I'm curious what tops the annoyance list for
Mail-Archive users these days. I haven't gotten many complaints
recently, but that doesn't mean people aren't silently grumbling. I'd
like to know what real users actually care about. Below are some
sample complaints to get the ball rolling. Please add your own or
mention the one that bothers you the most. Pretend I have absolutely
no idea that anything is less than perfect.
I really am trying to stir the pot a little. Don't worry about
offending; I'll be dissapointed if there aren't at least 3 "hate
everything" nominations. People who are particularly shy about
complaining in public can send me email if they prefer. Who knows,
maybe some of the feedback will even be put to good use.

- too much latency in archiving
- ugly presentation (vs. www.csszengarden.com)
- too hard / confusing to use
- web access is way too slow
- searching sucks: can't even do phrase search
- way too English centric
- too much traffic on gossip
- hard to link to a thread
- stupid policies
- lack of permanent index pages
- no monthly index
- stagnation
- instability
- too much obfuscation
- not enough spam shielding
- painful navigation
- not as good as something else
- unreliable / low quality / sloppily managed
- hate everything
