Hi Jeff, *, I was trying to add the http://go.mai-archive.com/<hash> URLs for a mailing list, and am now facing problem, that some messages are not reachable using those computed URLs.
While having a closer look (on that small dataset), the problematic messages cannot be found by message-ID either. One example is http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00018.html with Message-ID: <[email protected]> (as also shown in the html source: <INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="msgid" VALUE="[email protected]"> The computed hash-URL (list address is [email protected]) is http://go.mail-archive.com/8MwxvmGBYwNQgaxfwP9j5dosNQI= Starting with http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00007.html all messages have a Archived-At Header with the corresponding URL Those that won't work (both has as well as search by msg-id) are http://go.mail-archive.com/TsJMcjlqBh-ohs6BB4GgkJFrG4k= Message-ID: <[email protected]> http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00009.html http://go.mail-archive.com/TspmHdJqJWVtjbRMHBkMk-VmbJg= http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00011.html Message-ID: <[email protected]> http://go.mail-archive.com/Vu__8jCYa2F8dDJa969XgTW7STo= http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00015.html Message-ID: <[email protected]> http://go.mail-archive.com/Q0ZdGgn4KrGQD5sXhhOxbZG3EBw= http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00016.html Message-ID: <[email protected]> Working message-IDs include Message-ID: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> I cannot spot anything obvious - maybe you can? The only thing that seems different is that all non-working MSG-IDs include a "-", but none of the working one does. Might be coincidence though, as the dataset is so small.. ciao Christian -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
