Note that freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from criticism or freedom
from negative repercussions. The people calling for Brendan's resignation
or a boycott of Mozilla do nothing more than to exercise their freedom of
speech. I personally don't agree with a lot of what they're saying, just as
I don't agree with the act of speech that Brendan performed when he
supported Prop 8. Not only can't Mozilla do anything about these acts of
speech - it goes to the very core of what we as an organization stand for
to not ever want to.
