Do Whom it May Concern, Regarding the recent actions of your organisation concerning your effective expulsion of Mr. Brendan Eich:
I note with incredulity that as a Catholic, I would now be barred from holding a position with your company, simply because I am a follower of Christ. As would any devout Muslim, Jew, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox, Mormon or any Hindu, Buddhist or Sikh who pursues the natural moral law. I will not use any Mozilla product again until the position of this company permits the above to hold a place of employment and still practice freedom-of-religion, freedom-of-conscience and freedom-of-speech. In effect, to take employment with Mozilla I would have to renounce my Faith in Christ and the tenets of my Catholic religion. There have been other organisations which would, as condition of membership, have required likewise; the names of those groups, to the historian, should prove chilling and, one faintly hopes, chastening.
