"Doing good is part of our code". Right, sure, uh huh. Despite all the responses from Mozilla employees in various forums attempting to defend the organization - it boils down to this. The COB tossed the CEO under the bus after he 'resigned'. Her disgusting, groveling, slavish letter apologizing for Mozilla making the mistake of choosing a leader who had personal views that differed from the Politically Correct Thought Crime Fascists tell the tale. Mozilla and the people who work there have lost my trust. Firefox has been deleted from every computer in my home
Assuming you're referring to the post "Brendan Eich Steps Down as Mozilla CEO", I believe you're misinterpreting the apology. The first two paragraphs apologize for the organization's response to the controversy and the way we chose to stay silent and not engage with critics for several days, not for the actual selection of the CEO. Furthermore, the FAQ recently posted (https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2014/04/05/faq-on-ceo-resignation/) makes clear that Brendan's resignation was sincere and unforced by internal pressure; please take time to read it, and perhaps http://blog.gerv.net/2014/04/your-ire-is-misdirected/ as well.
