I'm sorry for posting another thread basically saying the same thing, but
seeing so many threads about uninstalling Firefox, I think it needs to be said
prominently. I'll try to keep it brief:

Mozilla is not the enemy here. It bears some of the blame for the outcome of
this mess, but it's more a victim than a bad guy. It's also comprised of many,
many people, of which the vast majority are very unhappy about Eich's departure
and the way the situation was handled.

Firefox is also more than Mozilla. It does no good to throw out the baby with
the bathwater. The Internet needs Firefox, and the future of computing devices
needs Mozilla, lest we be stuck with proprietary platforms and locked-down
hardware.

Uninstalling Firefox does little to no good for the cause of free speech. In
fact, punishing Mozilla for Eich's departure will likely further the chilling
effect on free speech that this precedent may have. One of the reasons Eich
left was probably for the sake of Mozilla's stated goals, which are goals we
should all share. I seriously doubt he wants anyone to dump Firefox or Mozilla.

Please don't make the same mistake that "the other side" made by reacting
emotionally and rashly. Let us not repay evil with evil, but let us overcome
evil with good.
