 Thanks for voicing your concern and your support for Freedom of Speech.
We agree that Freedom of Speech is a critical freedom and that nobody
should be fired for using it.

 However, I would like to stress out something: Brendan Eich was not
fired. He was the object of a very targeted political campaign coming
from the outside of Mozilla. While there were a few within the Mozilla
community who agreed with this campaign (I know of exactly 4 people,
none of them employees of Mozilla Corporation), most of Mozilla,
including the board, stood behind Brendan.
