David,

I am not sure I understand the end of your message. Regarding the list
you mention, I have not checked it, but it is correct that some members
of the Mozilla Foundation (*not* the Mozilla Corporation – if you want
to talk to them, you are on the wrong mailing-list and the wrong
organization) also asked for the resignation of Brendan.

Nobody can claim that Brendan's resignation was something he wanted. But
it was a sacrifice he made of his own free will, as he felt this was the
best way to protect Mozilla. This is very sad, but we need to respect
his choice and continue his mission. I would like to stress out that
Brendan is still very much an active member of the Mozilla Project.

If you want to know more, perhaps you will be interested to read the
following blog entry:

If you have questions, I will do my best to answer them.

Best regards,
 David
