Indeed, Brendan's departure is a severe blow to Mozilla. I believe that
all of us would have wanted to keep him. It is my understanding that the
board offered him a position as CTO if Brendan would/could not stay as CEO.

Unfortunately, I have seen the debates on Brendan that took place on
many websites and I am not so sure that « No reasonable person would
think this attack was fair no matter what side of this issue you are on.
» However, I believe that most at Mozilla agree that the leadership
should have made its support for Brendan clear and unambiguous.
