I have been in communication by e-mail with Brendan and, barring any piracy on his e-mail account, it looks like the comment is from him. Unfortunately, Brendan did not clarify everything during our conversation, but I now understand that, when Brendan announced his resignation as CEO, he was offered to remain as CTO. The rest of the exchange with Brendan on my blog is about technicalities (i.e. is "Senior VP of Engineering" the same thing as "CTO"? how much of a "key position" is it to be at the top of the hierarchy of the module owners? etc) Best regards, David -- David Rajchenbach-Teller, PhD Performance Team, Mozilla _______________________________________________ governance mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/governance
