We have a wonderful solution for that in the form of the DNT header.
We can simply load the Google Analytics code conditionally by doing something
like:
<script>
if (navigator.doNotTrack !== “yes”) {
… insert the standard GA snippet here ...
}
</script>
Personally I think we should make this standard practice.
