Hi all,
A user stopped by #sync recently inquiring about US Government requests
for user data. I've been unable to find any relevant information.
While we don't host much data at the moment, we're clearly moving in
that direction as we build out our service infrastructure.
Do we have any plans to publish regular transparency reports detailing
the volume of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court orders,
National Security Letters (NSLs), or other requests for user data that
we've received?
For reference, Google does an especially thorough job in its reporting
at http://www.google.com/transparencyreport/userdatarequests/US/ while
Yahoo has similar, but more meager reports at
