You're absolutely right. I forgot to mention that I've checked with Tim and 
Vivien, the owners of Gaia, and also David about the change before proposing it.

Since there are concerns about co-owning, I'll update the original proposal. 
David will become the owner of the module, and I'll step into a peer position.

From a process standpoint, it's up to the current owner to make changes 
to the module. You're acting very Napoleon there [1]!
Also, there is no real need for multiple owners usually. Having more 
peers is what matters most.
