For the diagnoses tables etc., I can see how the PCORI CDM relates to i2b2 data I've dealt with; a SQL view would probably make up the difference.
But not so for ENROLLMENT. Is it clear to anyone else how we'd handle this? I see in Jim's notes<http://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/attachment/ticket/89/CDM_V1_review.docx>: Random issues arising from this document for GPC standardization planning include: 1. discussion of enrollment and insurance data and consideration when we deploy in our network standard The CDM draft says: “Enrollment” is an insurance-based concept that defines a period during which all medically-attended events are expected to be observed. For partners that do not have enrollment information for some of their patients, other approaches for identifying periods during which complete medical capture is expected can be used. So... what do we do if we're not an insurance provider? a design from recent methods core discussions is "two or more visits separated by 30 days in the last three years" but that identifies patients, not enrolment periods -- Dan
