Aaron

On the call tomorrow can we briefly discuss responsibility and followup on
these issues with Popmednet?

Jim

Subject: PCORnet Distributed Research Network - Follow-Up on Initial Setup of
PopMedNet

Dear C4 GPC DSSNI TF Members,

The PCORnet Distributed Research Team reached out a few weeks ago to begin the
process of setting up the PCORnet DRN. Initial steps towards the goal of cross
network querying include:

  * Query of the Organization and DataMart metadata (Manage your
Organization, Datamart, and Registry
Metadata<https://popmednet.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DOC/Manage+your+Organization%2C+Datamart%2C+and+Registry+Metadata>
 documentation link).
  * Installation of the DataMart client behind the CDRN/PPRN firewall (The
DataMart Client
Application<https://popmednet.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DOC/The+DataMart+Client+Application>
 documentation link).
  * Initial query using simulated, fake data. Query will be sent via the
PCORnet DRN Query Tool and responded to using the DataMart client (Submitting
Requests<https://popmednet.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DOC/Submitting+Requests>
documentation link).

These are steps that will support the achievement of CDRN Global Milestones
3.17, 3.18, 3.19 and PPRN Global Milestones 2.10, 2.13, 2.14. We would like to
identify the CDRN and PPRN team members who will be working with us to
accomplish these data related activities beginning with high level Organization
and MetaData entry.

ACTION ITEM

Please provide us with contact information for the investigator and analyst who
will be the point of contact for your CDRN or PPRN by completing this survey
(Survey<https://pcornet.centraldesktop.com/taskforces/doc/31230384/?&pgref=>)
ASAP.

These contacts will be involved in DataMart information entry, installation of
the DataMart client at the CDRN or PPRN, and response via the DataMart client
to submitted queries. These individuals will be our primary contacts for the
PCORnet DRN and all data related inquiries.

ACTION ITEM

Please review the network diagram detailing CDRN or PPRN organizations
(Network<https://pcornet.centraldesktop.com/c4gpc/file/31374433/>) and provide
updates or changes in the comment field on Central Desktop ASAP. If you do not
have changes, please simply comment ‘OK’.

If there are other members of your organization who we should contact for this
information, please respond with their contact information.

Thank you for your attention to this matter,

The PCORnet DRN Team
