Hi all, Re-reading the threads earlier re: units conversion, I wanted to follow up and confirm that Cerner doesn’t currently use the unit conversion parameter in our client projects. I’ve forwarded those notes on to our engineering group to see what kinds of considerations we would need to make in order to implement that parameter globally, because it does look very applicable to our clients who have heterogeneous units (often times even for the same concept code within the same site). Currently, we do no transformation or manipulation to units, and only bring across the raw values.
Hope this helps to clarify – I’ll be able to follow up in more depth next week on the Dev call.
