I am looking at mapping our meds to RXNORM/NDFRT. Has anyone used the clarity RXNORM_CODES table for the rxnorm mapping, and generated an NDFRT i2b2 hierarchy? If so, could you send me your code to try out? I’ve used KU’s code to build the base NDFRT hierarchy, and now I’m trying to figure out the best way to link in the multiple RXNORM codes that exist per medication_id. Do you map all the RXNorm codes from the table, or only use the most specific mapping?
