It's likely that there's no difference at all; i.e. that what you guys are talking about is already consistent with REDCap conventions.
And, once again, REDCap has an "export to SAS" feature. I'm not sure I'm available to meet at 2pm today. Meanwhile, you might try organizing the codebook as a REDCap data dictionary. I think the official documentation is behind a registration link; meanwhile, see, for example: http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/edumedia/edufiles/about_us/admin_offices/academic_information_services/redcap-database-creating-dictionary.pdf -- Dan ________________________________________ From: McDowell, Bradley D [[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, September 23, 2015 8:29 AM To: [email protected]; Vincent Leonardo; Dan Connolly Cc: Tamara McMahon; Chrischilles, Elizabeth A Subject: RE: [gpc-informatics] #371: Breast Cancer - Codebook/datamart using REDCap naming conventions Could we put this on the agenda for today's call at 2pm? I am curious what advantages REDCap has over something like a delimited text file, especially since we'll likely be reading the data file into SAS. Thanks!
