I put my internal medid concept as the leaf under the rxcui folder, then hide any empty folders. That allows me to use the same data with several different mapping, including being able to maintain the original hierarchy we pulled from epic, or potentially other hierarchies. It's the same way KUMC does there medications.

Once you get down to the MED_ID in KUMC's case, and the RXCUI in UTSW's case, why do you still have it as a Folder instead of a LA - leaf? --- Debbie Yoshihara University of Wisconsin ________________________________ UT Southwestern Medical Center The future of medicine, today.
