Debbie notes that if you look at the fine print on the spreadsheet, PCORI
has redefined the "active patient" inclusion criteria to:
* CDRNs: Active patient = A patient with at least 1 outpatient, emergency
department, or inpatient encounter and at least 1 diagnosis code during
interval from 9/1/2013 to 8/30/2015.
They are also not interested in the actual cohorts used, but rather in the
cohort of patients that would have been available as:
* Number of patients/participants* with data in EMR/Registry from
9/1/2013 - 8/30/2015
